Family Studio Session – What to wear – Utah Photographer
If you live in Utah you might be familiar with this babe friend of mine, Meg aka Mom Strong Utah.  I was lucky enough to photograph her adorable little family!  Not only is she stunning, (and has a stunning family)… she is so motivational, genuine and fun to follow.  She has a new workout app too, so if you’re into fitness, check it out. Â
The thing I love about studio sessions is how minimal the background is, so all of the focus is completely on the subjects. Â This family session turned out to be so sweet, one of my favorites. Â Also if you’re confused about what to wear for a family session – this is a great example. Â Their outfit choices are adorable – coordinated, but not matchy-matchy. Â It’s great to pick a color combination to work with, but that doesn’t mean everyone has to be wearing the same color. Â Meg did a perfect job. One thing I love apart from the colors chosen are that the fabrics aren’t all exactly the same! Â It adds some fun texture, and none are too distracting! Â
Enjoy scrolling through these picture perfect moments!

Couple’s Maternity Session – Tibble Fork Reservoir
One of the most beautiful maternity couple’s sessions you have ever seen, right? These two are so sweet, happy, and genuinely in love! you can’t go wrong with a photoshoot in Utah at Tibble Fork reservoir. Yes, it might be a little crowded at times, but for a good reason. Yes, I did have to edit out a kayak or two or six. But yes, this blue-green water is seriously dreamy. Plus this free people dress also has my heart… it was perfect for this!

Five reasons to have a Deer Valley Wedding
If you’re looking for a wedding venue, this post is for you! Â Utah brides or destination brides, here are five reasons to make Deer Valley, Utah your wedding location.
1.The views
Your guests will be entertained by just ‘being!’. Â Surrounded by mountains, Â you will have everyone swooning. Imagine the most picturesque setting to walk down the isle. Â Just when you thought something couldn’t get any more beautiful, put a couple exchanging their vows in a setting like this, and bam, we’ve outdone ourselves!
2. Perfect summer temperatures
We all know wedding season is in the summertime. Â So for those summer months, how great to escape to the mountains where the temperature is still comfortable, and not quite so hot! Â You can walk down the isle without sweat dripping down your forehead and take photos without overheating. Â It’s one of the most ideal outdoor summer spots, in my opinion.
3. Â Your photo opportunities
Seriously, talk about location goals!  I would be lying if I said wedding venues aren’t KEY to creating amazing images!  A professional photographer will make things look amazing- but if the canvas is a board room in the basement of a run down office building.. I mean, you’re not going to have much to work with 😉 Down to the hotel or room you choose to get ready in, these locations can make or break your images.  Your wedding photos are the one thing you get to keep to remember your special day.  Make sure you choose a experienced professional photographer to photograph every detail of your wedding in a timeless classic way!  (No matter the location!)
Choosing location with good light, and really thinking about the backdrop that certain venues provide.  If you have questions, definitely don’t hesitate to ask your professional photographer what they think!  That is what we are here for.  The right mood lighting during receptions can also make a huge difference to creating gorgeous photos… so important! Â
4. Â That destination feeling
Even if you are from Utah, having a wedding in Deer Valley feels like a destination wedding. Â It’s a setting that makes you feel more intimate. Â You get up and away from the city to a resort surrounded by tall trees, open fields, higher elevation, and epic views. You can’t help but feel like you’re having a mini getaway.
5. Â The greatest venues!
You really can’t go wrong with any of the venues in Deer Valley. Â They all have so much to offer! Â Stein Eriksen Lodge gives you a very upscale, high end feeling with a gorgeous large ballroom that has a wall that opens connecting to the deck. During cocktail hour you can experience indoor/outdoor perfection. Â Ceremonies are held typically on raised deck, overlooking the mountains directly in the background. Â Every angle is gorgeous. Â Deer Valley Resort has the option to have the ceremony on the top of the mountain. Your wedding guests and wedding party ride the chair lift to the top to watch you exchange your vows. Â The Montage has a gorgeous staircase, is immaculate inside, and has the same outdoor special feel. This spot feels very formal, and black tie. Â Fire pits, and breathtaking views in a full 360. Â The Montage would be perfect for a wedding in any season, the inside has such a charming detailed ambiance. Â Winter weddings can be gorgeous as well! Â I mean, am I right with these venues? How can you go wrong!?

Rainy Seattle Engagement | Pikes Place Market & Discovery Park
Seattle came in with typical for this engagement session, but we embraced the rainy weather and let it set the tone for our shoot! Â We started photos at the Seattle Thompson Hotel with some views of Pike’s Place, walked over to the market, and then headed to Discovery Park to finish up our session. Â By the end of the shoot we were all completely soaked, and cold, but had so much fun and the photos turned out so authentic, I love them!Â

Galia Lahav Barefoot Bride
This editorial shoot was inspired by this amazing Galia Lahav gown, styled together with this mauve Lack of Color hat. I love how the two combined, although completely different in terms of style, mesh together so beautifully in a non traditional way. I love the barefoot bride concept, the earth tones, the sand, complimenting each other to create a unique but still very formal look. The bouquet and florals shaped very loose and organic. Enjoy! xx

In Zion. In Love. | Destination Wedding Photographer
Destination Wedding Photographer | Zion Engagement session
When this couple wanted to do their engagement session in Zion, of course I was on board! We did a day together, went around to a few different spots, did a little hiking for some photo opps, and mostly had such a fun time! I love that we got to capture the couple in a location special to them, that they love! If you are looking for an adventurous photoshoot and need a photographer, I am your girl.

I like you lots | In Love Mountain Couple
Hiiii. Um, I think this might be one of my favorite shoots ever. Plus, look at these two! they’re just my style! we hiked up to this little lake together and had it almost all to ourselves. Inspiration for a couple’s or engagement session – a perfect one.
